What people ask their agents about WhatsApp

Once your agent can read the chats you choose, you can ask it about your WhatsApp. Here is what people ask, how to ask it well, and what Circles prepares so the answer comes back fast.

Circles gives your AI agent the WhatsApp chats you choose, ready to use: voice notes as text, files ready to open, senders by name. People use it with Instinct, Claude, ChatGPT and Codex to catch up on busy groups, read voice notes, find files, get a morning digest and reply where they allow it, on a Free plan for 2 chats or Pro at $29 a month (₪99 in Israel), with 14 days of Pro free, as of October 2026.

How a good request looks

Your agent does the thinking. A request that names four things gets a sharp answer on the first try.

  1. Which chats. Name the group or person the way it appears in your WhatsApp: "the Oak Street parents group", "Avi". Or say "all my open chats".
  2. Since when. "Since Sunday", "the last 3 days", "since my last message there". Without a time, the agent has to guess how far back to read.
  3. What you want back. "Decisions and dates only", "a list of open questions", "one line per chat".
  4. What to do next, if anything. "Draft a reply, do not send", or "send it" in a chat you opened for sending.
Instead ofTry
"Summarize my WhatsApp""What changed in the parents group and the building group since Sunday? Decisions and dates only."
"Did anyone message me?""Which chats have messages since yesterday evening, and is anyone asking me something?"
"Find the PDF""Find the PDF Avi sent in June about the lease and tell me the renewal date."
"Answer Dana""Draft a reply to Dana saying Thursday works. Show me before you send."

Your agent cannot see a chat you did not open. Ask for one and Circles tells it, by name, which chats are open, so it can tell you. How permissions work.

Which agent for which job

Every agent sees the same chats, and gets the tools it may use: the send tool appears only to an agent allowed to send. They differ in where you talk to them.

Also Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, Grok and your own agent through the API: all agents.

Questions and answers

What can an AI agent do with my WhatsApp?

With Circles, an agent can read and search the chats you open, read voice notes as text, find and open files, and list who is in a group. It can send only in chats you opened for sending, within a daily cap.

Can AI read photos and documents from WhatsApp chats?

Circles hands the agent the file itself, up to 50 MB, and the agent reads it. Circles does not run OCR or describe images, so how well a photo or PDF is read depends on your agent.

How do I search all my WhatsApp chats with AI?

Connect your agent to Circles and ask. The search tool looks through every chat you opened, including what was said in voice notes.

Which agent works best with WhatsApp?

Any MCP client works with Circles. Instinct is the quickest on the go because you ask it from WhatsApp. Claude and ChatGPT are good for long catch-ups and files.

How much does it cost?

Circles is free for 2 chats, $9.90 a month on Starter for up to 5, or $29 a month on Pro (₪99 in Israel) for every chat and sending. Everyone starts with 14 days of Pro free. Your agent's own plan is separate.
